About Much Ado About Something
A criminal justice blog using fact based evidence and critical thought - leaving no stone unturned since '93
These publications are where I write about things I know with certain initial questions, investigate them and pull data together, then show you the results! All in a nice prose little package about why it matters. My mother would be proud.
In sum, this blog publication seeks to get to the heart of why our justice system here in America seems to be lacking justice. We will cover everything, from financials to political propaganda, to what type of battering ram police really should be using when they raid a residence, and the evidence and statistics behind it. No one in the justice system is safe. My writing should provoke some head-scratching, nervous blinking, occasional fits of laughter, and some deep rooted thoughts on what is right and what is wrong. My intention here is simple: investigate, educate, and proliferate (IEPs). I do the investigating and educating, it's up to you to proliferate what you read! If anything this hopefully gives you good topics to talk about at your next cocktail party or with your cop uncle at family Thanksgiving. Give me a shout below, check out my Instagram and Linkedin, and let's get to work!
About the Author:
I always find it bizarre when writers talk about themselves in the third person, so I’m using first person here. I live in Western Colorado, with my german shepherd, my wife and my family. I like hip hop, the rule of law, biking, and perusing wikipedia for random articles on things I never knew. I enjoy writing, and would like to make it more of a loved hobby. I am a lawyer, and was a former prosecutor, defense attorney, then defendant…all in that order. I write from that place, the place I know, but also a place where I turn a critical eye on anything legal or otherwise related in the criminal justice system.
This blog publication is the fruition of a lifelong dream to help reform and change the criminal justice system for the better. What better than a person who has seen all sides of it.
